교육대학원

배주채 교수는 한국어음운론과 한국어어휘론을 비롯하여 한국어학의 여러 분야에 대해 연구하고 있다. 선도적인 연구논문을 발표하는 것과 함께 학계의 연구성과를 종합하고 정리한 개론서를 출간해 왔다. 개론서로 『국어음운론 개설』, 『한국어의 발음』, 『한국어음운론의 기초』, 『언어학개론』, 『한국어문법』, 『한국어의 어휘』 등이 있다. 국어국문학과 전공과목 <한국어학개론>, <한국어발음과표기>, <한국어어휘>, <한국어문장표현>, <한국어사> 등을 담당하고 있다. 그리고 일반대학원 한국어교육학과 학과장 및 교육대학원 한국어교육 전공주임으로서 대학원생 대상으로 강의 및 논문지도에도 힘쓰고 있다.

Professor Bae Juchae is conducting research in various fields of Korean linguistics, including Korean phonology and Korean lexicology. He has published leading research papers and comprehensive introductory texts summarizing academic research achievements. His introductory works include "An Introduction to Korean Phonology," "The Pronunciation of Korean," "The Basics of Korean Phonology," "An Introduction to Linguistics," "A Korean Grammar," and "An Introduction to Korean Lexicology."  He is in charge of major courses in the Department of Korean Language and Literature, such as "Understanding Korean Linguistics," "Korean Pronunciation and Spelling," "Korean Lexicology," "Korean Text Production," and "History of Korean Language." As the head of the Graduate School of Korean Language Education, he also dedicates effort to lecturing and advising theses in both the master's and doctoral programs of Korean language education.

연세대학교 아동학 전공으로 학사와 석사 학위를 받았으며, University of Southern California, School of Education에서 Child Development 전공으로 박사학위를 취득하였다.  박사학위 취득 후 삼성복지재단 어린이개발센터에서 연구원으로 근무하였고, 2002년부터 가톨릭대학교 아동학과 교수로 근무 중이다. 강의과목은 영유아발달, 영유아사회정서지도, 정신건강, 특수아동이해이다. 세부 전공 분야는 유아기 및 아동기 사회정서발달이며. 특히  이 시기의 사회적 관계가 주요 연구 관심분야이다. 유아 및 초등 학령기 아동의  또래관계에 대한 연구를 지속적으로 수행해왔으며, 최근 부모-자녀관계 및 유아-교사관계 분야로 연구를 확대하고 있다.

 I received bachelor's and master's degrees in child studies from Yonsei University and Ph. D majoring child development from the University of Southern California, School of Education. After receiving Ph.D., I had worked as a researcher at the Samsung Welfare Foundation, Child Development Center. Since 2002 I have been working as a professor in the Department of Child Studies at The Catholic University of Korea. Lecture subjects are child development, social and emotional guidance for young children, mental health, and special education for children. My ​​research area is social and emotional development, in particular, social relationships of young children. I have continuously conducted research on peer relationships in  childhood, and have recently expanded research into the areas of parent-child relationships and teacher-child relationships.

고려대학교 사범대학 교육학과에서 학사, 석사, 박사학위(전공: 교육평가)를 취득하고, 한국교육과정평가원 선임연구원을 거쳐 현재 가톨릭대학교 교직과 교수로 재직 중임. 
국가수준 학업성취도 평가, 대학수학능력시험, 교원임용시험, 한국어능력시험 등 주요 국가시험의 출제 관리 및 결과 분석에 대한 연구, 대학입학전형제도, 성취평가제, 수행평가 등 교육평가 정책 에 대한 연구, 기초학력 진단 도구, 대학생 역량 평가 도구, 디지털 리터러시 진단도구 등 각종 교육평가 도구 개발 연구 등을 수행해오고 있음. 

After earning a bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree in the Department of Education at Korea University’s College of Education (majoring in educational evaluation), I served as a senior researcher at the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation, and I am currently a professor in the Department of Teacher Education at Catholic University. 
The research I have mainly conducted is as follows; 
 - Research on the development management and result analysis of major national examinations, including National Assessment of Educational Achievement(NAEA), 
   the College Scholastic Ability Test(CSAT), the teacher certification exam, and the Korean Language Proficiency Test
 - Research on educational evaluation policies such as university admission systems, achievement evaluation systems, and performance evaluation
 - Research and development of various educational assessment tools, including basic academic skills diagnostic tools, university student competency assessment 
   tools, and digital literacy diagnostic tools

이화여자대학교 특수교육과를 졸업하고, 미국 일리노이주립 대학교(University of Illinois at Urbana-Chamapgin)에서 특수교육학 전공으로 석사 및 박사학위를 취득한 후,  현재 가톨릭대학교 특수교육과 교수로 재직 중이다. 관심 있는 연구주제는 장애학생의 직업교육, 전환교육, 의료적 지원이다. 대표 저서로는 『특수교육 진로와 직업교육론』, 『장애학생을 위한 전환교육과 전환서비스』, 『(장애학생을 위한) 전환교육의 이해와 적용』 등이 있으며, 책임연구자로 2015 특수교육교과서(초등음악), 그림직업흥미검사 최신화 개정 및 접근성 향상 연구, 장애청소년 진로성숙도검사 개정 및 추가개발연구, 장애학생 진로직업교육 현황조사, 학교 내 중도장애학생 의료지원 가이드북 개발, 발달장애 근로자 조기노화에 따른 고용주 및 당사자 지원 방안 탐색, 교육청 장애인 교원현황 실태조사 등 교육부, 고용노동부, 보건복지부 지원을 받아 다양한 국과과제를  수행하고 있다. 현재 한국지적장애학회 부회장, 한국발달장애학회 이사로 봉사하고 있다.

내러티브(다매체)와 문학 기반의 리터러시 교육에 대해 주로  연구하고 있다. 특히, 독자의 특성을 고려한 개별화 교육과정과 담론 기반 매체 교육,  글쓰기 교육에 관심을 가지고 연구를 지속하였다.  독서를 통한 심리사회 정서 지원에 대한 연구도 진행하고 있다.  1997년 "현대소설의 담론 생산 방법"이란 제목으로 문학적 글쓰기 교육 관련 주제로 박사 학위를 받았으며, 서울대 국어교육 연구소에서 매체 교육, 글쓰기 교육 전임 연구원을 수행한 바 있다. 2002년 신라대 국어교육과에서 문학교육, 매체 교육 등을 중심으로 교육하면서 현재까지 총 100여편의 논문을 국내 전문 학술지에 발표하였다. 한국독서학회와 한국독서치료학회 회장을 역임하였다. 

I mainly study narrative (multimedia) and literature-based literacy education. In particular, I am interested in individualised curriculum that considers the characteristics of readers, discourse-based media education, and writing education. I has also conducted research on psychosocial emotional support through reading. I received her PhD in 1997 on the topic of literary writing education with the title "Discourse Production Methods in Contemporary Novels" and worked as a full-time researcher in media education and writing education at the Institute of Korean Language Education, Seoul National University. Since 2002, I have been teaching at the Department of Korean Language Education at Silla University, focusing on literature education and media education, and has published more than 100 papers in domestic journals. I have served as president of the Korean Reading Association and the Korean Reading Therapy Association.
